American Shotcrete Association
Who We Are
The American Shotcrete Association (ASA), headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is a non-profit organization of contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, designers, engineers, owners, and others with a common interest in advancing the use of shotcrete. Formed in March, 1998 to increase awareness of the shotcrete process, the first Board of Directors was elected in October of that year.
Our Vision
The Vision of the American Shotcrete Association: "Structures built or repaired with the shotcrete process are accepted as equal or superior to cast concrete."
Our Mission
The Mission of the ASA: "ASA provides knowledge resources, qualification, certification, education, and leadership to increase the acceptance, quality, and safe practices of the shotcrete process."
This mission is moved forward through the work of the ASA Committees on Education, Marketing, Membership, Pool & Recreational, Publications, Underground and Safety.
The ASA Annual Meeting is held in conjunction with World of Concrete, of which the ASA is a Co-sponsor. Other board and committee meetings are held in the Spring and Fall of each year. For more information on ASA events and meetings, please refer to our web calendar.
